Say hello to Daniel - our new member of the team!

With a growing demand for our Executive Recruitment Service we have added a new member to our team.  We chat to Daniel about his new role as Executive Recruitment Director.


What is your role within CO3?

Executive Recruitment Director.

Developing the three strands of CO3’s recruitment service; permanent recruitment from senior management to Chief Executive level, board appointments and interim executive roles.  I fully appreciate the quality and tailored focus of CO3’s services and that was one of the main attractions to the role. 


What has drawn you to this new role?

I have been very fortunate in my career, having worked for and been mentored by some exceptional business leaders and seen first-hand how they have delivered exceptional results. Each of them had differing attributes but above all else they were leaders who engaged and inspired in equal measure. Throughout my career I have sought out roles where I would have the opportunity to work with individuals who truly believed in their vision and were people – centric.

I have spent the past 15 years in a range of senior management positions within the recruitment industry, financial services sector and more recently a large youth charity. My blend of recruitment expertise, commercial acumen and understanding of the 3rd sector married well with the requirements of this niche and strategic role.

I have had a long standing admiration of the work carried out by our Third Sector locally. When the opportunity to work for CO3, an organisation who have been pioneers in leadership development for over 30 years arose, it aligned perfectly with my career goals and what excites me; people and leadership.

I am very much looking forward to engaging with the leaders of today and tomorrow within the Third Sector.


Before working at CO3, what was the most unusual or interesting job you’ve ever had?

A one-off project, sourcing 30,000 Christmas trees for the buying department of a large European retailer.


What is your biggest achievement to date – personal or professional?

Delivered 36 months consecutive sales and profit growth within a financial services business in the midst of the financial crisis.


What is your motto or personal mantra?

Personally: Good or bad; every experience is an opportunity to grow.

Business: Leaders are not paid to make the inevitable happen.
