Communications

We have had a request within our member network for guidance relating to the development of a communications strategy for a third sector organisation using a communications agency. The comms strategy will also extend to improving the members organisations public profile.

We would encourage any members who can share their own experiences with any communications agencies or any direct contacts they may have within this sector.

 

 

CRM databases

We would ask any members who have experience in managing or changing CRM databases to get in touch with CO3 using the details below.  Your input would be appreciated within the members network if you could provide any insight, feedback or guidance on the wider topic of CRM systems but also specifically:

·         eTapestry

·         Raisers Edge

·         Chariteer

·         Microsoft Dynamics

·         Salesforce

·         Zoho

The CRM system will be used to manage training participants, volunteers and donor lists, with an emphasis primarily on user friendliness.

OCN NI- Learning Endeavour Awards 2020

We are delighted to be working with OCN NI again to facilitate the OCN NI Learning Endeavour Awards for 2020. These awards will recognise the achievements of learners who seek to achieve their goals in life and work, their tutors/teachers and educational providers who help enable them to succeed.

Nominations will be open on Monday 28 October 2019 and close at 12 noon on Friday 29 November 2019.

 

 


 

NICVA-Charity annual reporting deadline

 

If your registered charity's financial year is 1 January - 31 December then you will have a deadline of 31 October in which to submit your annual monitoring return to the Charity Commission.   

If your charity is due to submit the annual monitoring return, please don't leave it to the last minute as you may not have all the information to hand that you need to submit. If you have any queries regarding the accounting and reporting requirements please do not hesitate to contact the Governance team in NICVA.

Interchange- Available Interchange Opportunities

The Interchange Scheme is flexible, providing cost-effective benefits to those organisations who are partners to the Scheme.  It allows employees from the participating organisations the opportunity to learn from each other and to share good practice, ideas and experience.

 

Current opportunities that are available with interchange are:

 

  • The National Crime Agency has Interchange opportunity for a Senior Finance Officer based in the Greater Belfast area (Ref: I/C 74/19), which closes on Friday 08 November 2019.
  • The Executive Office has Interchange opportunity for Local Support Officers (x2) based at Castle Buildings, Stormont Estate, Belfast (Ref: I/C 73/19), which closes on Friday 01 November 2019.
  • The Executive Office has Interchange opportunity for Local Coordinators (x4) based at Castle Buildings, Stormont Estate, Belfast (Ref: I/C 72/19), which closes on Friday 01 November 2019.
