29 June 2021 - CO3 Awards Photoshoot

After a long wait CO3 were finally in the position to hold our photoshoot from the CO3 Awards 2020. We were glad to see so many of our sponsors, highly commended and award winners taking part. Thank you to everyone for taking part and a massive congratulations to everyone who was shortlisted and nominated for the awards.

The Charity Commission for Northern Ireland have published a report on Public trust and confidence in charities research.

The research was conducted by an independent agency on behalf of the Charity Commission earlier in 2021.

It gathered the views of 1,500 adults on the below issues:

Community Finance Ireland has announced a £/€10 million All-Island Recovery Loan Fund, its first all-island loan scheme. The fund will offer flexible loans of £10,000-£250,000 (NI) and €10,000 to €500,000 (RoI) to community sector organisations including faith-based groups, sports clubs and social enterprises.

#Congratulations to the Award Winners and to those Highly Commended at the 2021 Good Governance Awards.

The Good Governance Awards showcase how good governance and driving social change are essentially interlinked and will provide an opportunity to celebrate what is best in the sector.

CO3 Chief Executive, Nora Smith had the opportunity to present at the Committee for Communities Meeting Thursday 10 June 2021 alongside NICVA.

Nora spoke about the impact on the Charity Sector through the Covid-19 pandemic and was joined by Michele Janes, Barnardos and Richard Spratt, Cancer Focus NI.

There is a full recording of the session. To hear Nora speak go to 1 hour 39 minutes into the recording, from there you can hear from Michele and Richard.
