CO3 Hold Drinks Reception with Grant Thornton to Celebrate Awards Shortlist

CO3 members shortlisted for the Leadership Awards 2016 celebrated their success so far at a special reception held at Grant Thornton’s offices on Thursday 28 January.

The informal gathering provided a networking opportunity for those shortlisted in the annual Leadership Awards programme, with over 50 Third Sector leaders in attendance.


Voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) organisations will have the ability to improve their performance and sustainability, thanks to two new online tools supported by the Big Lottery Fund. Learning from both will be evaluated to share with the sector.

Building and Strengthening the Third Sector in Northern Ireland and Scotland

Chief Officers Third Sector (CO3) and the Association of Chief Officers of Scottish Voluntary Organisations (ACOSVO) are delighted to announce the launch of a project that will work with 100 Third Sector organisations in Northern Ireland and Scotland to help them better understand and strengthen their capacity.

Roundtable Discussion with Minister Stephen Farry

On the 13 January 2016 CO3 hosted a roundtable discussion on the broad theme of Third Sector and political leadership with Stephen Farry,  Minister for the Department for Employment and Learning.

The event was attended by CO3 members and was hosted by Oasis Caring in Action.
