Webinar: Social Media - an employer’s dilemma

Webinar: Social Media - an employer’s dilemma
Wednesday, October 19, 2016 - 08:00 to 08:30

Social media is a powerful way for engaging with customers and employees alike. But there is an apparent dichotomy between the degree of benefit vs risk.

During this 30 minute Web 'n' HR, we discuss to what extent should employers attempt to control their policies, and is it our responsibility to educate employees on their increasing level of responsibility with regards to their social media footprint? As leaders, shouldn't we be developing a more social media savvy culture?

By referencing recent employment law case studies, this abridged (8am Quick brew) session will identify:

  • Your potential HR risks of social media, within your organisation.
  • CO3 members will be in a position to craft a social media policy that doesn’t just say what employees can’t share, instead, define the things you do want them to share,
  • How to link social media to performance and feedback, so it becomes embedded as your culture!

Abour our Webinars

Our Web 'n' HRs (web based HR conferencing) are tailored for each of our clients and designed for leaders. Giving participants best return in focused interactive sessions (normally 60 minutes). They are limited to six participants per session and are arranged at set times of the day (8am Quick brew, 1pm and 8pm).
