Workshop Overview

In an ever more uncertain funding environment, equipping your executives with the skills of Business Negotiation significantly enhances their prospects in discussions with funding bodies and potential private sector sponsors or contributors.

This 1-day Negotiation Skills workshop covers the key skills, knowledge and processes required for planning, preparing and executing a business negotiation effectively. It is designed to build progressively the delegate’s capability from simple bargaining to multi-dimensional agreements, thus making it a suitable workshop for people with limited negotiation experience as well as an excellent refresher for more experienced delegates.

 

Workshop Objectives
  • To develop the capability to plan and prepare a negotiation strategy.
  • To develop the skills to counteract destructive negotiation tactics and ploys.
  • To develop the skills and knowledge required to use the Negotiation process with confidence to achieve a complex agreement with an external body.
  • To develop an awareness of how to use negotiation skills to enhance dealings with colleagues.
