CO3 Leadership Award Sponsors

CO3 is grateful to the following sponsors for their support of the CO3 Leadership Awards 2022 and for their commitment to supporting excellence in Third Sector Leadership.

Smith & Williamson

We are delighted to announce our main sponsor of the CO3 Leadership Awards 2022, Smith & Williamson. Smith & Williamson have been a long-standing supporter of CO3 and the Third Sector and we are pleased to have them as our main sponsor for the next three years.

They are incredibly well placed to be the sponsor of the 'Inspiring Leader of the Year' category as they too place quality and inspiration at the heart of everything they do.

Baker Tilly Mooney Moore

Baker Tilly Mooney Moore is proud to sponsor the Leading Organisational Change Award. The leadership and management of change is a critical success factor for all organisations as the third sector faces the perfect storm of constrained public spend, increased user needs and the increased drive to adopt collaborative delivery models. Those organisations which adopt, adapt and re-tune are more likely to create a more sustainable future for their users, employees and stakeholders. It is important therefore to recognise local examples of successful strategic change programmes.

Baker Tilly Mooney Moore is one of Northern Ireland’s leading accountancy and advisory practices providing services in accounting, auditing, tax and business services. Our consulting and advisory services focus on supporting organisational growth and change and our experience embraces all sectors and industries with a particular focus on the not for profit sector.

Moore MacDonald

Moore MacDonald have over 50 years of expertise and experience providing highly professional building consultancy services across the UK and Ireland.  They are one of the largest and leading multidisciplinary companies in their sector in Northern Ireland.

We are grateful to have Moore MacDonald as our drinks sponsor this year.

Engage Executive Talent

CO3 is Northern Ireland’s leadership organisation for Chief Officers in the Third Sector, and its Engage Executive Talent offer has been borne out of the demand from third sector boards and executive teams for services that were more responsive to the needs of the non-profit sector than existing mainstream providers.
Engage Executive Talent sponsor our 'One to Watch' Category.

Department for Communities

DfC is sponsoring this award in recognition of the importance of leadership in the field of social innovation.

The issues we face today need different solutions – ones that take new and combined perspectives on challenges and utilise new experiences and skills to overcome them. In a challenging budgetary environment, with no new money and the need to do things more efficiently and effectively, with innovation a necessity in delivering greater impact (challenging the best way to do things), strong and clear leadership is so important.

This award will recognise and celebrate individuals who have harnessed innovation to help people live healthier, happier and more prosperous lives.

Department of Health

Department of Health is sponsoring this award in recognition of the important contribution that the Third Sector has to play in helping to support transformation in health and social care.

This award recognises how good joined up care works in practice and celebrates the pioneering new ways of delivering care to provide things like better support at home, earlier treatment in the community and preventing people needing emergency care in hospitals or care homes.

The award aligns with the ‘Health and Wellbeing 2026: Delivering Together’ transformation programme.

Halifax Foundation for Northern Ireland

The Halifax Foundation for Northern Ireland is a grant-giving Foundation whose income is derived from Lloyds Banking Group. Its policies are determined by an independent Board of Trustees, which agrees on the Foundation's strategic priorities and distributes the funding.

The overall aim of the Halifax Foundation for Northern Ireland is to support charities that enable people, especially disadvantaged or disabled people, to play a fuller role in the community. In 2018 alone, the Foundation supported 353 charities to the tune of £1.24m. In 2019 the Foundation will award in excess of £1.5M in grants.

As a funder of small charities, Halifax Foundation for Northern Ireland is delighted to support this category, recognising the commitment, drive and passion it takes to lead a small charity.
