DfC is sponsoring this award in recognition of the importance of leadership in the field of social innovation.

Department of Health

Department of Health is sponsoring this award in recognition of the important contribution that the Third Sector has to play in helping to support transformation in health and social care.

This award recognises how good joined up care works in practice and celebrates the pioneering new ways of delivering care to provide things like better support at home, earlier treatment in the community and preventing people needing emergency care in hospitals or care homes.

Halifax Foundation for Northern Ireland

The Halifax Foundation for Northern Ireland is a grant-giving Foundation whose income is derived from Lloyds Banking Group. Its policies are determined by an independent Board of Trustees, which agrees on the Foundation's strategic priorities and distributes the funding.

The overall aim of the Halifax Foundation for Northern Ireland is to support charities that enable people, especially disadvantaged or disabled people, to play a fuller role in the community. In 2018 alone, the Foundation supported 353 charities to the tune of £1.24m. In 2019 the Foundation will award in excess of £1.5M in grants.
