Understanding Financial Accounts and Confidence on Reporting to your Board

Understanding Financial Accounts and Confidence on Reporting to your Board
Friday, June 8, 2018 - 10:00 to 15:30
CO3 Offices (34 Shaftesbury Square, Belfast, BT2 7DB)

Many organisations have inherited financial systems and management reporting tools that have not been reviewed in years, leaving the CEO with financial reports that they may not understand or are not fit for purpose in helping them to lead the organisation to meet its strategic objects or to report to their board.

This course will provide participants with a refresher on how to read a set of financial accounts and generally examines what information should be included in a financial management report.  The course will also cover areas such as:

  • What information should I be asking from my finance officer/director?
  • What questions should I expect from my board in relation to our accounts?

The workshop will then be followed by a separate one to one session (on a date to suit you) which will allow the CEO to review their own financial reporting systems in confidence and to consider ways that these may be improved to provide them with better financial information to support decision making.

Date:      8 June, 10am - 3:30pm
Venue:   CO3 Offices, (34 Shaftesbury Square, Belfast, BT2 7DB)
Cost:      £130 Members / £150 Non Member
