Embedding Wellbeing within local councils - Carnegie UK Trust

Thursday, February 11, 2021 - 10:30 to 11:30

In 2019, the Carnegie UK Trust invested in three local councils to support the development of Community Planning Partnerships to implement a local wellbeing outcomes approach.

The three selected councils were:

  • Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council
  • Derry City and Strabane District Council &
  • Lisburn and Castlereagh City Council.

Our virtual event will bring together leaders to examine how Community Planning Partnerships have engaged with communities and citizens in a more meaningful way.

Meet The Speakers

John Kelpie, Chief Executive with Derry City and Strabane District Council, will share his insights and experiences of being part of the programme.

Lauren Pennycook, Senior Policy & Development Officer with Carnegie, will also offer her reflections on the progress and challenges of this project.

Lauri McCusker, Director, Fermanagh Trust, will share his perspectives and experiences on Community Planning Partnerships and cross-sectoral collaborations

As part of the event, we would value your insights and reflections on the opportunities and challenges of Community Planning Partnerships being a model of cross-sectoral collaboration and a chance to place wellbeing at the centre of their focus.

Please register your interest to attend this event by emailing Louise, louise@co3.bz. Registration for this event will close on Friday 5th February at 5pm.
