Investing Effectively for Charities

Are you making the best use of the money that you have? Are you complying with charity and company law in how you choose your investments? Are you unknowingly investing in arms manufacturers in a military dictatorship employing slave labour?This important CO3 training session for chief officers will help you to assess whether the approach your charity is taking to investing its precious cash is legal, moral and effective in maximizing its returns. The training will take place on Friday 16th September (10am to 12.30pm) in the Boardroom of Volunteer Now, 32 Shaftsbury Square, Belfast.
The session will be led by Duncan Gwyther, Chief Investment Officer at Quilter, a specialist in investmenmanagement solutions, who has overall responsibility for the firm’s investment strategy. Quilter has substantial experience in providing investment management services for charities and Duncan has over 30 years’ experience in the financial services industry. He is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Banking, a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Securities and Investment Institute (FCSI) and a Committee Member of the Association of Private Client Investment Managers (APCIMS).
